Starting in 2008, MEE has brought to our audiences young and aspiring chamber music performers through the Emerging Artists at the Edge initiative, a mentoring program for gifted young professionals in which training and experience in music are handed down one-on-one, experienced artist to new artist.
The emphasis on MEE’s 30th Anniversary Season has encouraged us to include in our summer concerts as many as possible of our member players. For 2011, Emerging Artists will be on hold. We look forward to returning to this very exciting and inspiring program in 2012.
