It is a brilliant reflection on any business to be identified with a highly regarded fine arts organization having MEE’s track record of community service. The 30th Anniversary Season celebrations throughout 2011 offer yet another opportunity for your business to shine as a community leader and supporter of the arts. Since MEE’s first season in 1982, we have brought the joy of exquisite chamber music to thousands of concertgoers, students and seniors. Today, thanks to the support of businesses like yours and grant-making foundations, we are recognized as one of the premier chamber music organizations in the Northeast.
Sponsorship opportunities include:
The centerpiece of our 30th Anniversary Season is our Gala Performance on July 22 at the Peabody Essex Museum’s famous East India Marine Hall. MEE will present a special performance of two New Music at the Edge commissions by composer Howard Rovics that pay tribute to MEE’s deep roots in the North Shore: Journey, A Seagoing Narrative with Music after Two Years Before the Mast and "Listening to the Sea Winds" commemorating the poetry of Vincent Ferrini , the late “Poet of Gloucester”. Performed in the East India Marine Hall, surrounded by art and artifacts of the era of sailing ships, an elegant reception and plenty of publicity will mark this event as a season high point!
This eagerly anticipated concert offers sponsors tremendous opportunities for brand visibility, customer relations and networking. Please contact us to learn more!
Concert sponsorships offer outstanding opportunities from a branding, networking and customer relations standpoint. In addition to supporting one of the area’s most vibrant cultural organizations, your sponsorship provides an ideal occasion to further raise your firm’s profile among an educated, affluent and sophisticated audience and reinforce its positioning as a business committed to and aligned with excellence.
Our 2011 Summer Concert Series – MEE’s 30th Anniversary Season – promises to be the most appealing ever for both audiences and sponsors. From world class artists to distinctive performance venues, these programs build on our rich tradition of offering audiences the highest standards in musical performance with the added appeal of concert locations in some of the region’s most beautiful, intimate and evocative settings – concerts that attendees have described as “superb” and “truly magical.” In keeping with our mission, MEE’s concerts provide an atmosphere in which people can enjoy the musical performance and ambience, learn about the music through artist-to-audience interaction, and then mingle, meet the artists and savor the experience at a post-concert reception. This welcoming and winning formula has led to development of an increasingly large and loyal audience base and offers sponsors ideal opportunities for networking.
Our annual Winter Benefit Concert supports MEE’s community outreach programs – the free Senior/Family Series daytime concerts in the summer for seniors and families with children, and also the Youth Chamber Concert Series for students presented free of charge in public elementary schools around the North Shore.
Youth Chamber Concert Series For 21 years, Music at Eden’s Edge’s commitment to outreach has extended into the classroom through the Youth Chamber Concert (YCC) program, bringing the joy of music and live performance to more than 35,000 students. In lively presentations, MEE players help students discover their own ability to respond and relate to classical chamber music as well as to many other kinds of music also offered in these concerts. The YCC is presented in partnership with nine public elementary schools in six North Shore communities – Newburyport, Gloucester, Ipswich, Beverly, Salem and Lynn. Provided at no cost to the schools, the program teaches music appreciation skills while giving students a chance to experience live chamber music and work with professional musicians in a classroom setting.
Senior/Family Series MEE’s deep roots in the North Shore spring from our commitment to community outreach, which is as central to our mission as great performances. Each summer, MEE offer four free concerts as part of the Senior/Family Series. Held on Tuesday afternoons, these concerts take place at the fully accessible Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church (NUUC) in Danvers and are designed to bring the joy of chamber music to audiences ranging from families with young children to seniors, many of whom attend every single performance in the series.
We are happy to work with you to structure a sponsorship package that meets your specific needs. Please contact Ann Seamonds at seamonds@seamonds.com for more information and to schedule a conversation. We look forward to hearing from you!
